The FAW Jiefang Hu VN chassis sprinkler truck is a popular choice for municipal sanitation operations, falling under the “blue-plate” (light-duty vehicle) category. It is powered by a 110-horsepower Quanchai diesel engine paired with a Wanyiyang 5-speed transmission. Standard safety features include air-actuated parking brakes, a clutch booster, and an ABS system, ensuring excellent driving stability. The vehicle also comes equipped with central locking, power windows, and cruise control; its design offers a wide field of vision, helping to reduce operator fatigue during long shifts.
The truck features a standard 4–5 cubic meter tank constructed from WISCO (Wuhan Iron and Steel) carbon steel, equipped with internal anti-surge baffles and rigorously tested for leaks under high pressure to ensure safe transport. It is fitted with a high-capacity, specialized sprinkler pump that supports front-flushing, rear-sprinkling, side-spraying, and a high-mounted water cannon for landscaping. The system includes a fire-hydrant connection and self-priming/self-discharging capabilities. Optional configurations—such as a mist cannon, tank insulation, and an agricultural pesticide-spraying kit—are also available.
