The Dongfeng sewage suction truck is a specialized sanitation vehicle built on the Dongfeng medium-duty truck chassis. It meets National VI emission standards and is powered by a Weichai diesel engine (10L displacement class, ranging from 270 to 375 horsepower). Designed primarily for municipal pipeline clearing, septic tank cleaning, and river dredging, the entire series qualifies for purchase tax exemption. It is a mainstream, high-performance model for 10–13 cubic meter capacity sewage suction operations.
The tank structure is fabricated from national-standard 6mm-thick WISCO Q235 carbon steel, with the end caps thickened to 8mm. Multiple internal baffles are installed to minimize fluid sloshing, and an optional rotomolded anti-corrosion lining is available to significantly enhance durability; tank volumes range from 7 to 13 cubic meters.
For lifting and opening, the vehicle features a standard dual-cylinder hydraulic tipping system. The rear door opens fully via hydraulics, ensuring clog-free dumping of large sludge chunks and debris while facilitating easier tank cleaning.
The sewage suction system is equipped with either an SK-15 water-ring vacuum pump or a dual-pump setup (for 10m³ models), delivering a vacuum level of ≥0.08 MPa and a vertical suction lift of 7–8 meters. It offers powerful suction performance and comes standard with a vacuum anti-overflow valve and an automatic shut-off device to prevent sewage backflow from damaging the pump.
